Klingt echt derbe, aber iwie fehlt mir die Einzigartigkeit die diSEMBOWELMENT ausgemacht haben, die Einflüsse aus dem Grindcore sind weg, dadurch bewegt sich die Band stilistisch nahe an Evoken (die ja von diSEMBOWELMENT und Thergothon beeinflusst worden sind).
Ich denke ich werde mir die Platte dennoch kaufen =D…

Ich weiß ja nicht. Dieses Jahr kam noch nichts passendes für mich aus diesem Bereich raus. Vielleicht ändert sich das ja mit dem neuen Release von Gojira, der letzte war aber ganz klar der von „The Catafalque“ Ende 2011.

Vor allem ist das Video toll gemacht.

Das Video, bzw. die Band finde ich auch extrem gut. Sehr düster, erinnert an Keep Of Kalessin.

Meiner einer hört sehr gerne Metal - neben Hardrock und Scores. Älteres, aber auch neueres Zeugs. Hierbei gibt es auch keine Beschränkung auf Länder (den verlinkten Gojira-Song finde ich nebenbei sehr gut :wink: ).

Menhir ist und bleibt einfach genial! Ein weiterer Grund, warum ich mein Bundesland liebe, denn von hier kommen einfach die besten Metal-Bands! Ich bevorzuge zwar immer die cleanen Vocals, aber Heiko Gerulls Stimme ist trotzdem einfach nur… bärig! :wink:

Hier haben wir noch einen Vertreter aus Thüringen, bei dem mich der fließende Wechsel zwischen Screaming, klarem Gesang und dem wundervollen Einsatz ruhiger Gitarren und Sythi-Effekten mehr als begeistert. Die Emotionen dieses Liedes, die Trauer und der Kummer werden eindrucksvoll durch die Instrumente und den Gesang transportiert. Interessant ist auch der plötzliche „Erzählton“ ab der zweiten Minute, der ein wenig an Rhapsody erinnert.

Dann weiß ich nicht, ob es eine gute Nachricht ist, wenn ich sage: L´Enfant Sauvage gefällt mir nochmals besser als The Way of all Flesh.
Mein Exemplar samt Shirt ist am Freitag eingetroffen und befindet sich seitdem im Zustand der Dauerrotation.
